“ Most everything about this restaurant was good. I did find that the recipes for what we ordered had good quality ingredients but there were a couple of things that were missing the mark. The wild rice had bits that were undercooked and crunchy and the apple crisp had a bit too much cinnamon and the apples were still too firm as well as the crumble topping. Overall it was good and I would try it again but I would hope that the head chef would make sure that the execution of the dishes had a little more attention. The wait staff was very courteous and on point. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was fun. ”
“ We made a short road trip to Lincoln, Nebraska, and decided on Lazlo's as they are listed online as a restaurant with a dog friendly patio, as well as a great looking food menu. William and Ann took great care of us all. They were friendly and welcoming to us all. They had some great oldies playing softly in the background, and the downtown sounds made it a great lunch. The patio is decorated nicely, and the inside is very fun. The food was good. We ordered off the kids' menu for our doggie, Chloe. They even brought her out her own Lazlo's doggie water bowl. My sandwich was perfect with cole slaw, and the spicy crispy chicken sandwich was filling and tasty. It was a great lunch. ”
“ Food was really good! My son has Celiac, and their full GF menu was great. Dedicated fryer so he could get wings and fries. Things hard to find at other restaurants! I had a burger, potato and onion rings. All very good and had their own unique flair. ”
“ Great spot in the Haymarket, rustic brick, soft lighting, a great choice for taking my wife on a date while we were visiting from out of state. The beer flight was alot of fun - try the cold brew cream ale - good stuff. Our server, Zach, was impressively attentive, and went way out of his way to help my wife navigate the gluten-free menu items so she could dine in peace. Handled a couple of mix-ups during the meal very professionally. Would love to come here again. ”
“ It's been several years since I've had a meal at Lazlo's; and it did not disappoint. Fries were still super delicious and the burger was yummy, too. We sat on the patio, which was quite lovely. Highly recommend. ”
“ Stopped in for dinner on our way through on a road trip. Nice place with a ton of space. Good selection of food and beer. Our food, while tasty, was frankly a little bland. I think it has to do with regional tastes. We eat a lot of spicy dishes at home and in some areas of the country black pepper is considered spicy. The enchiladas I had were a very different take, but I thought they were quite good, just needed some zing. Fun to see that part of Lincoln, hasn't been in that part of town before. ”
“ We travel across the country every year, and Lazlo's at Haymarket is a stop we go out of our way for every year. The food was very tasty as usual, all four of us had something different and no one walked away hungry. The staff are outstanding and the management, if they even think there is an issue they will notice it before you do and handle it. Wide isles you don't feel crammed in, plenty of room for my mobility aid to fold up and lean near our booth. Can't wait to see you next year! ”
“ Didn't realize this was the home of Empyrean Brewing before I got there. Service was great, food was great, beer was extra great! Gouda burger was surprisingly good. A special dessert of Bread Pudding was sneaky awesome. The seasonal Chocolate Pistachio Stout was so awesome that I had one for dessert and a growler to go! Rock solid for a first meal in Nebraska. ”
